The North Rutland area is a mix of older homes and newer single-family developments, combined with a good selection of duplexes and multi-family units. North Rutland is one of the more affordable areas in Kelowna – from first-time homebuyers to empty nesters. North Rutland is home to several schools, including a senior secondary, and is only minutes away from the UBC Okanagan Campus and the Kelowna International Airport. Recreation facilities such as a YMCA pool & gym, ice rinks and gymnastics facility are all clustered together for easy access. Centrally located in Rutland is beautiful Ben Lee Park, which offers trails, a playground, a kid’s water park and Kelowna’s best skateboard park. Several big box stores along with shopping centres, services and restaurants are also located in Rutland.
