Lower Mission (or “The Mission” as it is known) has something for everyone! This popular neighbourhood is a fantastic place to live with so many amenities close by. The inventory of real estate includes all the popular housing options such as single-family homes, townhouses and condominiums. There are several good elementary schools, secondary schools, and outstanding recreation options. The Mission borders on Okanagan Lake, with some of Kelowna’s most famous beaches including Gyro and Rotary. There are also hidden gems like Sarson’s Beach, which has shade trees, a lawn for a picnic, a kid-friendly beach, a playground and washrooms. One of Kelowna’s premier recreation complexes is the Mission Recreation Park, with numerous baseball and soccer fields, and of course the H2O Centre (waterpark & gym) and Capital News Centre (rinks & indoor soccer).
