Mark Gidden moved from England in 1975. Starting his professional life as a general contractor in the Edmonton area, he built over 100 homes; this experience provided him with valuable tools when selling real estate.

In 1992 Mark relocated to the Okanagan, where he parlayed his in-depth knowledge of the home building industry into a real estate career over 25 years ago. Having been both a real estate brokerage owner and a successful home builder, Mark has an abundance of industry experience and real estate knowledge for his clients to draw upon. He is known for his strong negotiating, marketing,  and communication skills, which have seen him recognized as one of the top-producing real estate agents in Kelowna.  It is Mark’s uncanny ability to direct his clients to quality homes and to avoid problem homes or “money-pits” that his clients truly appreciate.

Lloyd Taverner

After working with his family business for many years, Lloyd and his wife of over 25 years, Christine, moved from Calgary to the Okanagan. Lloyd, Christine, and his two children Kelly and Keith have lived in West Kelowna for many years, and Lloyd has been an award-winning realtor for 12 years. Lloyd is a high energy, dynamic individual who is known for his sense of humor and charisma. He enjoys going to the gym, following current events and politics, and spending time with his family.

Lloyd brings a wealth of experience to the team, and has been working with Mark Gidden and Associates as Mark’s partner since 2005.  Lloyd’s passion for the business, combined with his extensive knowledge of the Okanagan region and charming personality, makes him great at what he does.  He is an excellent negotiator, and gets the job done!
